Chief of Marketing and PR

We are looking for someone to take charge of our marketing and public relation efforts.

For fifteen years, RemObjects Software has been creating tools for software developers. We're really good at what we're doing on the technical side, and users love our products. Which is why we've been able to rely mostly on word-of-mouth to spread our message in the past.

We need your help to take our marketing efforts to the next level, reach out to more users and customers and expand the community. We're looking for someone to take complete charge of our marketing and PR efforts, from devising (together with our technical team) the best strategies and ways to reach out to users, to executing the plan and driving the resulting efforts. This would include everything from our websites over mailings, customer relations, advertising and social media.

This is the kind of job that really can be whatever you make of it. We're looking for someone who brings in their own ideas and initiative, and can take control and plan & drive our marketing efforts. You'll be working directly with RemObjects Software's Chief Architect (and the rest of the tech teams) to get you started and get familiar with our products and our future vision for them; you'll be responsible for where we go from there.

You'd be covering all products, with an initial focus on Elements and later expansion to include Data Abstract, Remoting SDK and Hydra in the marketing efforts, as well. While a secondary target is, of course, to increase long-term sales, the main goal is to build the community and bring wider awareness about our products to the relevant developer communities, in particular for our free cross platform Swift compiler in Elements.

Details & Requirements

This will be a full-time remote position, with flexible work times. You can work from anywhere in the world.

Requirements are good and fluid control of the English language, and experience and interest in marketing and/or PR in the software industry. Interested/experience with software developer tools and/or the software developer community would be a plus.

If you are interested or know someone who might be, please reach out via email, Twitter DM or private message on Talk.
