While Oxygene supports a wide range of platforms, both Microsoft and other, the creation of Windows desktop applications is still high on the list of many developers, and Oxygene provides an excellent tool chain for creating desktop apps, both using the sophisticated Windows presentation Foundation (WPF) framework, which we recommend for most usages, and the older Windows Forms libraries.
Oxygene comes with templates to geb you started with both types of GUI application, and of course provides a fully integrated visual form designer for both platforms as well.
Of course, if you need to go beyond the GUI, Oxygene is also great at creating "Windows NT" Service applications, command line tools, or any other kind of project you may want to run on your Windows desktop.
Oxygene is a general purpose programming language with native support for just about every modern development platform of today.
