Server Explorer (with Schema Modeler) for Mac is the one-step tool for managing and configuring Relativity Servers, developing and defining schemas for your middle tier and browsing data from and testing DA SQL queries against both Relativity Server and custom Data Abstract Servers.
Server Explorer is included in Data Abstract for Xcode and can also be obtained separately from the Mac App Store.
Manage and Configure Your Servers
Server Explorer for Mac lets you keep track of and manage all of your Relativity Servers and custom Data Abstract servers. It will automatically find and connect to Relativity instances found on the local network (using Bonjour/ROZeroConf) and lets you manually set up connections to any remote servers you might want to control.

You can configure and administer Relativity Servers, set up domains and database connections, and configure login providers to control who can gain access to your servers – both for development purposes and to access data from clients.

Explore Your Data
Preview data from the tables exposed by your servers, or use Data Explorer to drill in deeper and run complex DA SQL queries against your data to test and debug your services.

Full Data Abstract Schema Modeler Included
As part of Server Explorer comes our Data Abstract Schema Modeler, the tool that forms the heart and soul of the Data Abstract development toolchain. This is where you design your middle tier, define what tables to expose to your clients (and what they should look like), and create abstractions between different database structures or types.

Develop Business Rules Scripts
Use Server Explorer to create and revise JavaScript scripts that define your Relativity Server's business logic, based on Data Abstract's Business Rules Scripting. Use the wide range of events provided by Relativity Server and and extensive Data Abstract JavaScript API to create business rules, enforce data integrity, and even run secondary queries and data manipulation as part of your business logic, all based on the 100% ECMAScript 5 compatible RemObjects Script.

Inspect and Browse Briefcase Files Created by Your Apps
Simply double-click any .daBriefcase file or .briefcase bundle created by your (or other's) Data Abstract applications to inspect the data tables inside it, explore their metadata or browse the data contained within.

Server Explorer is for...
Developers using Data Abstract for Xcode
Server Explorer is an integral part of the tool chain for creating applications using Data Abstract for Xcode, since it also includes Schema Modeler for Mac. As such, a license for Server Explorer is included in the box with each copy of Data Abstract for Xcode.
Developers using Data Abstract for other Platforms
Server Explorer for Mac might also be a helpful tool for Data Abstract developers using the .NET or Delphi platforms, if they use the Mac as part of their day-to-day operations, allowing them to work with their Relativity Servers or custom Data Abstract servers without the need to, for example, boot up their Windows VM. They can obtain Server Explorer for Mac from the Mac App Store.
Developers building OData-based clients with Relativity Server
A third group of developers benefitting from Server Explorer for Mac are those who are not developing with Data Abstract at all, but are using Relativity Server (whether in its royalty free edition or using a full license) to build business tiers that they will communicate with using third party OData libraries. They can obtain Server Explorer for Mac from the Mac App Store.
Relativity Server Administrators
Finally, a license for Server Explorer for Mac from the Mac App Store is ideal for administrators who work with and control Relativity Server instances, without the need for a full copy of Data Abstract.
